How to get the wall shear stress by UDF

I need the value of wall shear stress of the first cell close to a wall and use it to get the friction velocity by UDF. Is there any Macro available to do this? Also, is it possible to get the yplus of a cell near a wall (not necessary the first cell to the wall)?

Thanks a lot!!!

Re: How to get the wall shear stress by UDF

The flow is turbulent and I use the RSM model.I want to fix the normal Reynolds stress component as an empirical function of y+. It is important to get the value of y+ or wall shear stress from which to get y +.

Hi,

I know the post was a while ago.

Did you find out how to access the wall shear stress using a UDF ?

hi

hi, have u find the answer please share this, i want to calculate the wall shear and y plus at first node height and also the reynold number
thanks
