After meshing my geometry, created boundary conditions and finally saving using v6 in ICEM CFD, the file cannot be read in fluent. Need your help. Thanks

@AlJummah,
Your problem is not clear. You need to clarify stuff e.g. Are you doing a 2D or 3D mesh? What kind of geometry? Are you using hexa or tetra meshing? etc. The better you inform, the better someone can assist. You may also want to attach the sketch of your geometry. Hope this helps.

I am using a 3D mesh, tetra (hexa-need to know about too), a cylindrical tube with two elbow joined to each end. thank you.

What is the error in Fluent?
Make sure you convert to unstructured mesh by right clicking the pre-mesh menu on the tree. Snap shot image will help to help you.

The error is that my mesh cannot be read in fluent. Pls how can I insert the attachment?

See the file below on where to click to attach.

To capture your screen use PRINT SCREEN (PrtScn) on you keyboard and paste in Paint or your file...if I get your question.

What's the origin error message while reading the mesh file.

Try this on the Model Tree:
1. Check the Pre-Mesh (Accept if it asks to update mesh)
2. Right click on Pre-Mesh
3. Click CONVERT TO UNSTRUCTURED MESH

On the Output Tab
1. Click the red box (Select Solver)
2. Output Solver :Fluent_V6 / ANSYS
3. Next to the red box is BC (set appropriate but not compulsory as you can do that in Fluent
4. The 4th box is input
5. Save the Project
6. Click Open for the *.uns file (Firstview.uns)
7. If it is a 2D/3D setup select the option
8. The output file default is Fluent
9. You can change it to say....Cylinder or Cylinder.msh
10. You will be able to read Cylinder.msh in Fluent

Hope this helps

Actually; initially I use to create blocking before meshing hence see on the model tree the Pre-mesh, but my supervisor cristicised blocking. All items you enumerated was followed but the mesh could not be readable in fluent. After that, I used method approved by my boss but still the mesh is not readable. Is the blocking very necessary in fluid flowing geometry? Thank you very much for your kind input.

You have done a good job with the geometry and mesh. You only needed to compute the mesh and when selecting your solver, select FLUENT_V6 and ANSYS not NASTRAN. Then output to FirstViewMesh.msh that you can read in Fluent similarly as would be done in the step explained above (as attached to you)
