UDF for surface tension gradient

Hello All,

I need some help in UDF.I need to access the surface tension gradient as a function of temperature.I couldnt find the face macro for accessing SURFACE TENSION GRADIENT or SURFACE TENSION.I also need face macro for Shear force or shear stress.can anyone help me out. Thanks Kiran

Re: UDF for surface tension gradient

I thought surface tension is a constant for a air-liquid system and we know the value. The gradient of surface tension depends on how refine the interface (air-liquid). Do u mean you need dS/dx dS/dy and dS/dz?

Hi Cathy,

thanks for your reply.i need dS/dx dS/dy bcos mine is a 3-d case and the flow is XY-plane.i am also looking for a face macro for defining shear stress and a face macro for heat flux variable.thanks kiran
