Gambit -Periodic face linking

How do I link the 2 faces in a grid periodically using gambit. The problem is that I am using a grid generated by gridgen and the grid has not been developed bottom up in gambit. Is there any way the faces may be periodically linked and periodic BC's applied to the faces without disturbing the original mesh.

/define/grid-interfaces/make-periodic |
