I'd like to write out the velocity vs time at several points. I defined some point surfaces, but seems I can't access these points by UDF. Anybody know if I am right or not? If I am right, so how can I output these stuffs? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, I don't think you need an UDF to do so. You can easily make a macro to save velociy at several point at every time step or more ! and get read the files normally named .out, with any text reader ! Ciao

You don't need UDF for this. Just define your points in FLUENT and set a Surface Monitor on them, choosing the variable you want to monitor.

A monitor allows you to plot and save to file the values you need.

Each monitor can save only a variable in a single point, so you need to define a monitor in each point for each variable you want to save.
