contour plot of stream function

In contour display, I could not find contour plot for stream function-streamline. Do I have to define it by myself? what should I do if I want to plot streamline? Thank you.

Re: contour plot of stream function

display->contour->velocity->streamline

Thank you. But I still could not find "streamline" under "contours of veloctiy". I am using Fluent 6.0. There are velocity magnitude, X, Y, Z velocities, tangential velocity, vorticity, and so on. Can you tell me why.

Contours of streamfunction is only available in 2D. In 3D your best solution is to plot path-lines released from an appropriate surface, line or point.

I have Fluent6.0. It has stream function under velocity. I'm not sure of your case

Thanks, Jonas. My case is 3-D problem and your suggestion is helpful. Jason, I appreciate your response. Now I understood it.

for 2d and 3d, there is slight difference.
