Hello,

I am modeling the flow in a cyclone. The cyclon has 1 inlet and 2 outlets and I want to predict the mass split ratio. I tried to use outlet pressure as boundary condition but the pressure at the boundary it's unknown. How can I predict the split in this kind of problem?, thanks for your help.

Jose

Sorry, but, you can't.

You should have one of 'pressure' or 'split ratio'. Furtheremore, no CFD code can, because it is necessary condition of the PDE(N-S eqs.).

Sincerely, Jinwook
