Default CAVITATION (convergence criteria & discretization)

Hi all; I want to model the cloud cavitation. The xcact local value of pressure in the flow field is very important for me. However solution convergence correctly is important.By the scaled residue less than .001 criteria, I get bad results. I decide to work with unscaled residue criteria. In this criteria I choose the order of residue of each quantity, .01 less than the average value of that quantity. Any suggestion?! What schem is better for discretization? Pressure: PRESTO! momentum, turbulance, volum fraction,... : (second order upwind) Thanks!

Hi ROOZBEH!

Sorry for not answering your email from last month - I was not at institute... Maybe you should look at:

http://iridium.me.es.osaka-u.ac.jp/cav2003/index1.html

you can find a lot of papers on simulating cavitation...

Hope it helps
