Compiled UDFs
Hello everyone,
I'm having difficulty in using compiled udf's. I have the following error when using the nmake command: Microsoft (R) Program Maintenance Utility Version 6.00.8168.0 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corp 1988-1998. All rights reserved. makefile(51) : fatal error U1050: You need to define the environmental variable FLUENT_INC. Stop. Has anyone seen this before and know how I can fix it? I'm using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 if that is of any help. Thanks in advance, Devin |
Re: Compiled UDFs
the problem is too wide. fatal error occur from many point in the program or Fluent.

Re: Compiled UDFs
Did you first run the C++ batch file to set environment variable (libraries, paths) - or set these yourself - prior to running nmake?

Re: Compiled UDFs
Thanks for the replies, I did actually run the patch with no luck. However, I was able to find what Environment Variables needed to be added and did so manually.
My new problem is that when linking the compiled udf to Fluent, an error occurs stating that the libudf.dll file could not be opened and file fl547s.exe could not be found. I search my harddrive for the file, but none exists. Any thoughts? Thanks, Devin |
Re: Compiled UDFs
Ask your provider about that dll file, u can't detect it.
