Hi, Would you give some sort of guidelines about simulation of two gas that will be inter into a high vacuum cylindrical chamber? I have to mainly see the relative portion of each gas and density of this mixture at the different portion of the chamber.I have to use two inlet for two gas and one outlet. I will be very glad to you if anybody give some information (i mean from where i have to start, any supporting tutorial, any documents) about this type of simulation with FLUENT. Thanks.

You are probabilly have do work with mixture multyphase model. Go trough the tutorials for multyphase flow simulations (all of them are good for understanding multyphase), to get the idea what you have to do.

I agree with Mateus, you're working with gases so your two fluids have the same density: the Mixture model should work properly.

If you don't obtain good results with it, switch to the Eulerian model, which should be more accurate, solving a full set of transport equations for each phase.

Hi, You can simulate this kind of problems by just solving species transport equations, it is fairly easy unless there is reaction between the gases. Regards emre
