Hello all,
I am analysing fluid flow through a flute-like container. After drawing the holes on the surfaces, I split it with the volume and then mesh it. but while exporting the mesh, holes dont get written. It displays an error : 'does not contain any valid entity'. When it does get written, in Fluent, I get this error message : 'skipping zone- not referenced by grid' What am I doing wrong here? Can anybody help me out? Thanks, Shankar. |

Hello,
just a suggestion, maybe it's due to the fact you did not define any boundary conditions in this zone? let me know regards David |

hi thanks for your response david, i think i figured it out, splitting volume with a face doesnt create a hole, it has to be with another volume.
