Particle Tracking

Hell everybody. I am absolutely new in Fluent. I try to simulate a particle tracking trough a cyclone. The fluid is air and the particles are oil. Can I follow the oil which is trapped at the walls?

If you are referring to the gliding motion of a liquid on a wall, the DPM will not simulate that. When it is trapped it is gone.

I suppose that is would be possible if you program a udf.

A udf is a User Defined Function. You can read about it in your manual, but it is a feature that gives you the possibility to write your own functions and attach them to fluents solver.
