Is there a way to write the time step size, time a
 

Hi, I am doing an unsteady flow simulation with adaptive time step. Although we can monitor the time step size and time using "Statistic Monitors", the data are stored in the individual data file. To know the corresponding time step and time for each data file, we shall read every data file. Therefore I am wondering that is there a way to write the time step size and time associated with data file no. in one file, such as if we monitor the inlet flow rate at every time step, we can get the flow waveform? I do need your help. Thanks a lot!

you can inlude "%t" in the file name in the autosave panel and this string will be converted to physical time when saving.

You are right. I misunderstand your meanings. sorry for wrong suggestions.

An easy way to solve your problem is to record the timestep and the corresponding physical time in a seperated file. Then you can look up this file after computing and know the physcial time of each data file. N_TIME will give you the time step and CURRENT_TIME the physical time.
