hi i have aerosol simulation with fluent. that aerosol flow in cyclone. I model it with discrete phase. In my model, i include energy radiation(P1) equation The gas(air) has temperature 823 K and particle is 323 K. Gas has mass = 43 kg/s and prticle is 35 kg/s. Particle(inert particle) has density 2800 kg/m3, Cp=1200 kj/kgK and emisivitas particle is 0.9. The wall of cyclone is adiabatik. When the simulation is finish and i check gas temperature. but gas temperature is still 823K.

Please if anyone know about that, tell me what i must do.

thank you

Make sure you check the 'Interaction with continuous phase' box in the Discrete Phase menu.

Hi Erwin Yes. i had include interaction partilce with continous phase. The option which i activated were particle radiation ineraction and coupled heat mass solution. thanks for your response.

Hi Erwin Yes. i had include interaction partilce with continous phase. The option which i activated were particle radiation ineraction and coupled heat mass solution. But the gas out temperature is still like gas tenperature inlet. thanks for your response.
