hanging-node mode

I was trying to follow the first tutorial in Fluent Tutorial 1. Introduction to Using FLUENT

While on page 44, while doing gradient adaption, fluent gave me a warning about hanging node mode. Can someone tell me what it is and what kind of precautions do I need to take against it?
