rotation d'helice

merci

i have a propeller with a rotational speed ... rad/s and i want to modelate this without using dinamic mesh. i have an ideea about doing this but i don't knew if it's working. by giving the mouvement to fluid and the propeller resting fixe. the problem is how to do this and if it a good ideea regarding the results.

thank you

Re: rotation d'helice

Why not using multiple reference frame?

Re: rotation d'helice

there are 2 examples of this in tutorials of fluent. i don't knew certenly but i think the third and forth problems

Re: rotation d'helice

you're saying that i have to give to the fluid the option multiple reference frame with the rotation of .... round an axis and living the propeller fixes or giving the propeler the property of mouving wall with the condition of speed 0 rot/sec

Re: rotation d'helice

The 2 seem correct

Re: rotation d'helice

thank you but i'm having some problems with the velocity and pressure in the domain. have you an ideea what to use as boundary conditions and parameters inside. i've posted a new message with name rotating propeller. can you help me. please
