'internal' and 'interior' boundary conditions

Hey All,

Could somebody please explain the difference between an 'interior' and and 'internal' boundary condition in Gambit. How are these conditions interpreted by Fluent while solving the problem?

I believe the interface boundary condition is for interface between phases, for sliding meshes etc.

Does somebody have an elegant and lucid explaination?

Sincerely, Vishu.
