I am applying Standard wall function in my simulation. After the first try, I found Y+ values in some regions were out of the range of 30-60. Then I adapted the near wall grid with Y+ adaption (min. 30 and max. 60). The cell number increased by around 3000 after adaptation. Then I iterated again until convergence was obtained. But when I compared the velocity distribution between these two runs, it showed only negligible difference. Is this possible or I am doing anything wrong? Thanks for all your opions.

Did you look near-wall or mean flow profile? I think, if you look near-wall by a log-scale, you will see the difference...

Thank you very much. I will look into the near wall carefully.
