Hi,

I'm trying renew the license on my machine. the license has lapsed since 2002 but i have recieved the new license. however whne i try to run fluent i get the following error message

'feature removed during lmreread, or wrong sever line hostid.'

The software and sever are on the same pc - a normal desktop pc. The computer used to be connected to the internet but is not now. I recieved a registry fix for another computer a while back so that i could use the software without being connected to the internet. I assume this same fix will work for every computer???

I have followed the fluent instrutions without sucess, can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong???

Regards, Eric

Hi!

Do you have the right server settings in your licence file? Check your old licence file and a new one. Sometimes there are 4 lines that define server settings and have to be replaced (must be the same as in your old licence).

Hope this helps
