how to pass bc from one zone to second zone

Hi

Anyone help me to solve this problem.

I have two volume zones name as A & B.I know bc at A inlet and B outlet. I want to solve A & B zone togather by starting with A ( applying known inlet and assume outlet bc for A).

After computing only A zone i am looking to take average of all of velocity components and looking to apply this as inlet bc for zone B.

Now I would simulate zone B with this calculated velocity components as inlet bc and known outlet bc.

After computing zone B, average of pressure at zone B inlet would be bc for zone A outlet for next calculation of zone A

This iterative process is repeated until pressure on the A outlet and B inlet is unchanged.

Thanks in advance

Hi. I think that you can approach this problem easily if you used scheme language. try scheme!

Dear Sir

I don't know anything about scheme language. I am using Fluent. At outlet of a volume zone surface I have 30 horizontal and 20 vertical lines grid. So every horizontal line has 20 nodes. I am looking to take mean of these 20 nodes at each horizontal line. so I get 30 means.

At inlet surface of second volume zone I also have 30 horizontal and 20 vertical lines. Similarly at every horizontal line I have 20 nodes. At every (20) node of first horizontal line of second volume zone inlet, I want to apply mean value of first horizontal line of outlet of first volume. Similarly at all 30 horizontal lines of second zone inlet I want to apply means of first zone outlet.

May you please tell me that which define macro in Fluent UDF could help me to solve this problem?

Thanks Maria
