axial velocity profile in swirling flow

Hi,

I am simulating a swirling air flow in an unconfined environment (no wall BC) using the RSM model but when I check the axial velocity profiles, I get the highest velocities further downstream from the air flow inlet, which is obviously wrong.

I'm not sure whether i should use PRESTO or BODY FORCES and I hesitate between QUICK and SECOND ORDER for more accuracy.

I determine the operating pressure at the height where the air exits in the atmosphere but I wonder if i should indicate gravity acceleration.

Could you give me the procedure in order to get my axial velocity profile right?

thanks

regards

David
