Re:Urgent: need help in meshing

Hi,

Can any of you help in meshing a model for me. It is very simple model. The problem I am having is it produces very poor solution (solution diverges). The only problem I think might be due to the mesh.

The model has two cylinders in perpendicular directions and is united at th e center. I think because of the skewness of the cells at the center the residuals are diverging and producing poor solution.

It would be great if anyone can help me at the earliest.

Thanks, Suresh

I think you can get good advice by just looking at tutorial 3 in the Gambit help files. I would use a similar approach for two-pipe intersection as it would produce a structured high-quality mesh.
