Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to build and enforce my own boundary treatment through a UDF (the default boundary conditions available in FLUENT are not suitable for my problem). thanks, Patrick.

Hi,

DEFINE_PROFILE macro is very useful for such a problem.

Thank you.

It depends on what kind of boundary conditions you want to set.

If you need to impose a property profile, as FJ said, it's really easy. You can also set a Neumann boundary condition without great difficulties.

But I don't think it's possible to define a completely new boundary condition, if not overriding an existing one using UDF. So, choose the BC which is the most similar to what you need and adapt it using UDF.
