Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to build and enforce my own boundary treatment through a UDF (the default boundary conditions available in FLUENT are not suitable for my problem). thanks, Patrick.

Hi,
DEFINE_PROFILE macro is very useful for such a problem. Thank you. FJ |

It depends on what kind of boundary conditions you want to set.
If you need to impose a property profile, as FJ said, it's really easy. You can also set a Neumann boundary condition without great difficulties. But I don't think it's possible to define a completely new boundary condition, if not overriding an existing one using UDF. So, choose the BC which is the most similar to what you need and adapt it using UDF. Hi ap |
