about transient flow

Hi,everyone: I need to simulate the transient flow in a pump whose impeller's rotate speed is changing with the time.The inlet velocity is constant while outflow is pulsate. Only recently do I begin to study someting about transient flow.I don't know whether UDF can solve the problem.How does UDF do with it?Can someone give me some advice. Thank you very much!
