Hi To select a solution for modeling of turbulent flows is depended to condition of problems. for example : k_e method has a range to apply and when reynolds shear stresses are more noticable , its realy imprtant to used this method.but this method has not enough efficiency in rotational and unbuonded flows . RSM method is good and accurate method for recognizing properties of average flow and reynolds stress. but it computing cost is hight.(it has seven partial differential equation more). amir.

hi,

just as an indication, RSM increases your computing cost by 30 to 50% roughly.
