Hi Benny

You must have to unite all the geometry before creating mesh.

If you don't unite the volumes then each volume will be consider as separate domain/zone. So the flow field will not be the continuous. For example two separate containers placed together with two fluid and they are not mixing.......they are separated by rigid walls.

any other question?

feel free to ask.

Hi!

You can also mesh the volumes separatelly (what you allready did) and then separatelly define the bc on the face pairs where the two volumes unite. Each face has to be separetelly defined as wall! You can then define the face pair in fluent as periodic interface.

good luck
