Hi;

In what case, the location of reference point in operating pressure panel is important. Is this important in cavitation modeling in which we deal with absolut pressure value?

Thanks.

I personally define the reference pressure in a point of the oultet boundary but I guess you can also put it at the inlet, since in the cavitation tunnels, the measure of the reference pressure ( that is used for defining the cavitation number) is either at the inlet or at the outlet.

Hope it helps

Dear;

I use pressure outlet for outlet B.C.(i.e. its location is fixed) and set my cavitation number with the pressure at outlet, but what's the role of location of reference point in operating pressure pannel?

Thanks ROOZBEH
