Animation of Pathlines
 

Hi,

I am having difficulty creating the animation of pathlines using the procedures outlined in Section 25.5.5 Modifying Pathline Attributes. After changing the value of the maximum number of steps in the Pathline Attributes panel and clicking on Apply, I always get these error messages "Error: track-surface: wrong number of args (expected 8) Error Object: ((22) "particle-id" 4.9999999e-06 2 #f 1 0)" and the pathline did not get recomputed and redrawn.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

to animate Pathlines u need huge ram on ur computer.... so if u ask for few lines... then it could be ok

....i have same problem with fluent 6.0 ....you can resolve your problem with 5.4 version..no problem with this version...good job
