free surface BC

Hi, I am trying to simulate a free surface flow where CO2 plume ejects into atmosphere. What kind of BC should I set for the free surface? In addition, what kind of method should I use? LES or RANS or laminar flow? It's a 2d case (assume axisymmetric), incompressible. Thanks.

Re: free surface BC

By assuming axisymmetry, you have also assumed laminar flow I guess (I don' t think you can still have axisymmetry in the turbulen flow regime).
