Can we use the DEFINE_DPM_PROPERTY Macro to change the 'POROSITY" of a combusting particle? The solver is giving an error saying wrong return type (void return type expected). Is there any other Macro for the purpose.

Hi,

You have to use DEFINE_PROFILE since the porosity is defined as a face varible and not a cell variable. I have talked to FLUENT about this and they are familliar to the problem. In the manual it says that you should use DEFINE_PROPERTY but this is wrong.

Best regards, Mattias
