Hey everyone..

I have a question about Gambit. I've met an undefined error in gambit and it automatically terminated. After that, I can not start gambit again. It automatically generates error message like

"/ File opened for write Mon May 17 20:50:27 2004. ERROR: IDENTIFIER "default_id" CURRENTLY OPEN"

Do you guys have any idea about this problem?

Should I re-install gambit?

Thanks in advance

you can start Gambit with this method: click (START) then (RUN)and write:

d:\fluent.inc\ntbin\ntx86\gambit.exe name

this is the path that gambit is installed.every time that you run the program ,use different words instead of (name). some thing else;you must completely exit the program at the end.

Soody.

Jay, look in your working directory for a tiny file with .lok extension. When gambit terminates ubnormally, it leaves this file and a temporary working directory behind. Just delete them and you'll be able to run it again. (The file is just a marker of an open session.)

Bye
