Mouse button controls in Fluent Graphics

Hi there!

Recently I have connected Samsung Optical PS/2 Wheel mouse one PC. Its operation is somewhat problematic when working on Fluent; e.g. while handling grid/contour/vector plot display, the left button pans the grid, wheel creates an anchor like image but doesn't do any thing and right button picks node alright. Thus choosing a suitable view has become almost impossible with Samsung mouse. The same mouse works just very well for all other programs.

Whereas with a Logitech Optical mouse (which usually I use on the other PC), the handling of grid/contour/vector plots is very much all right with right button rotating the view, wheel zooming in/out and right button picking the node.

Has anybody experienced difficulty of this kind and does know the solution?

Thanks in advance. Prasad

I'm not sure from your description whether the problem can be solved by modifying the Mouse Button settings, but did you check them? (In the Display menu)

Thanks George! I've checked all the possible button settings. They look allright.

Best regards Prasad

In order to do some experiment, I replaced Samsung mouse with a simple Intex 3-button PS/2 mouse. The result is the same. It behaved exactly as Samsung mouse!!
