Urgent help..
 

Hi I want to cool bulb withn air flow in ten seconds .(unsteady)(bulb which is cooling by air flow three directions). flow stream is laminar and solver is segregated. this mesage is appeared after some itreation: divergnec detected in AMG solver :X-momentom regard . Amir .

I had that message the other day. I was examining flow (laminar, segregated, unsteady) around/though a porous medium and got that same message. I then tried starting out with very basic settings and working my way up to the values/properties I wanted.

For my specific case: I changed my porous medium to a solid and interface BC to walls, I found that that worked, then I changed my interface BC back to interface and changed the porous medium to a liquid. It continued to work then I changed the porous medium into a porous medium and I gradually increased the Resistance through the medium, and everything worked. I then tried re-initialize and ran the simulation and everything worked!

Perhaps, I had overlooked something when I first set everything up and caught it when I tried a basic approach and worked my way back up. I don't know, I'm just happy it worked.

Hey I also get this kind of AMG grid error. I am working on Modelling of bubble break up and coalescence. Could any one of u let me know why does AMG error pop up? Podila
