Laminar finite rate combustion model

Hello

Is there anybody here who had success with laminar finite rate combustion model (with DTRM radiation model)?I have a few questions about both the models.

Thanks, Shankar.

It is some time ago that tried to model a laminar methane flame (2D). You may have a look to the discussion forum archive.

As far as I remember 2 things are very important:

1. using the coupled solver

2. providing reasonable Diffusion coefficients (due to laminarity)

Thanks Volker. I will have a look. Shankar.

When its combustion inside a closed chamber without inlet and outlet, I should be using floating operating pressure.

Can I still use coupled solver? I run out of memory even when running it in parallel when I use coupled solver.(4 GB memory)
