Default Problem with re-triangulation in TGrid
Posts: n/a
Dear users,

I have created a surface mesh of a low-aspect-ratio wing along with the surrounding flow domain in Gambit using triangles. By using TGrid, I have tried to generate a viscous sublayer in the vicinity of the wing with prisms. Despite the fact that, prisms are generated normally along with the "cap" boundary face, the original surface (the one normal to the wing) is not re-triangulated. All settings are in accordance with the manual and the tutorials. I would appreciate if someone might be able to give me an answer to this problem. One thing I have noticed is that when I am importing the surface mesh from Gambit into TGrid the faces are imported as mixed rather than triangular. Does anyone know how to export "pure" triangular cell faces? Thanks in advance.
