Hi everyone!!!

Is there someone who can tell me if there is a FLUENT version with energy equation available with multiphase model???

Thank you very much!!!

Energy Eqns are solved if you require temp profiles. Hence cavitation models ( mixture model in multiphase) would have Energy Eqn enabling option.

FLUENT 6.1 (in all subversions) implements the energy equation for multiphase models.

You can still solve energy equation in Fluent 6.0 using the User Defined Scalar equation functionality. Depending on your problem, you might have to write a UDF.

Yes, you can add the energy balance by solving a user defined scalar equation, which you can implement through UDF.

However, I'd suggest to upgrade, if possible, your FLUENT version because FLUENT 6.1 has many facilities also for UDF which are not available in FLUENT 6.0.
