Default Displacement of particles with an udf

Hello,

I'm trying to displace a particle within the define_dpm_scalar_update macro. So every timestep the macro is called, the particle should be displaced a certain distance. I can update the p_pos(p)[i] within the macro and print it to the screen and it seems to work, but in the next step the displacement is "forgotten". Does anyone know, if the p_pos(p)[i] is not changeable within this macro??? If not, is there any other solution to displace a particel after a certain timestep??

Thank you,

Michael
