Hi,

Could you tell me how to estimate the total solving time. I am solving 3D transient flow using Fidap. Fisolv started to solve it yesterday morning, and is still solving ......I cannot estimate when the program will be finished. I just want to know can we estimate total running time ? If we can, please let me know...

It would depend on whether you're running on network or stand-alone machine.... Check if there is anyway to plot what's happening to the solution (monitor) like fluent.... Run for small time and see how much time it takes.... some of the programs if they do automatic time steps would depend on physics of the problem. Hope it helps....
