Volume of Fluids at low g situations

Hi there -
I'm studying flow of fuel around a spherical tank in low gravity situations. For instance a micro-gravity of order 1e^-4 ms^-2 is created as a satellite moves forward, fuel is collected in one half of the fuel tank. The satellite then slows down by retro-firing...the fuel "should" detach from one wall and slam into the opposite wall of the tank. I'm having problems getting the solution to converge at all if you have any ideas please help! I'm using the VOF model in Fluent 6.1 and it's a 3d segregated solver. Kind Regards Jay |

Try changing the time to a lower value
