The big key for cyclones: RSM turbulence model; the other fail to give the tangential velocity peak in cyclones.

RSM is not available for multiphases models yet in FLUENT. It will be in FLUENT 6.2.

hmmm, you're right But the DPM will do the job for a cyclone, no?

It depends on the quantity of particles. If they are too much, the DPM is not the appropriate model. You could use the Mixture model (Algebraic Slip Model) or the Eulerian model.

thank you ,in my case,the volume fraction of dipersed-phase is less than 10%,as the help of fluent 6.1,i will do it with euler-lagrange model, but i cannot find the seperations like this....
