Re: how to capture the GUI
Posted By: Alex Chirokov <chirokov@drexel.edu> Date: Thu, 12 Aug 2004, 10:18 a.m. In Response To: Re: how to capture the GUI (SAM) One way to capture everything that on the screen is to press "Print Screen" on the keyboard. This will copy whole desktop image into the clipboard. So make sure you can see what you want to capture (GUI dialogs, vector, contour plot -whatever), press this key go to your image editing software (Paint Shop, PhotoShop, Paint Brush ..etc.) and crop the image. If you press ALT+"Print Screen" you will only capture active window. You can also use dedicated capturing software like "SnagIt" . Hope this will answer your question. |

Hi SAM!!!
Sorry for my late reply and thank you very much!!! I have a new question: which editing software could I use, in LINUX, for exporting FLUENT's panel from LINUX to WINDOWS, in .pdf or .doc files ???(by using ALT+"Print Screen" I can only copy pictures in KWORD file, but I can't export in one of these windows files) Thanks in advance for your responses!!!
