Help on DPM model

Hi, everyone,
I met a problem when I used FLUENT to model a superheated steam spray drying. I added UDF to define the boiling point of the material. But the final particle temperature profile shows that it does not change again after the temperature reached the boiling point. Anybody has such an experience of superheated steam drying using FLUENT. Your feedbacks will be appreciated very much. Regards Lixin |

When you use DPM, you should compute continuos flow first, then add DPM in. Good luck!

Hi, Jeffery,
Thanks for your respondence. I always calculate the continuous phase and discrete phase at the same time. If I do not use UDF to define the boiling point, the solution seems reseanable. Only problem is that the particle temperature seems not as good as measurement. Lixin |

Hi, I also simulation superheated liquid dispersion.I have used the effervescent atomizer model. But I don't know how to set the Mixture quality x and Spray angle which parameters are related.
