read geometry from Fluent

I have only .cas and .dat files which have been worked a few years ago by FLUENT. (These were not my work) Can I read the geometry of these files in GAMBIT? I want to analyse it and know how it has been build. Thanks!

If you have the .cas file, you can use the import command in gambit. Select file/import/mesh. and the select the appropriate type of mesh (eg. fluent 5/6), then select the .cas file and gambit should import the mesh. I hope this helps. Good luck

are you reading in a .cas file? In gambit make sure you select file/import/mesh and then select fluent5/6 then make sure you select the appropriate dimensionality (2-D/3-D)

well, you can read .cas & .dat files in CFD Post, you can use this software to export information from your files and do data treatement.
Good luck with that
