Hi...

I am trying to solve the droplet problem. The liquid, which has a shpere shape, is just on the surface and has 1.6 m/s.

I am considering the gravity effect and the surface tension effect.

Modeling : Axis, Usteady, Vof-Geo consture, Two phase(liquid and gas),

Bounday Condition No inlet and outlet presure inlet for phase-2(liquid) = 0 wall for the mixture : default

I made the volume fraction for the liquid and also patched.

The problem is .... When I use the liquid which has the low viscosity(0.0012), I could get the resonable result.
:> time step = 1e-05, UR = 0.3, Courant numebr = 0.25

But for the liquid which has the high viscosity(5.00), I could not get the solution even with the implicit. The continuity convergence is the main problem. It doenst seem to be converged.
:> tiem step = 1e-09(takes 100 years??), and same.

Is there any one who experienced this kind of problem?

Thanks for your attention

Jay
