creating real face from a wireframe
Howdy y'all!
I'm having some trouble with tangency at the intersection of two edges in my GAMBIT model. Imagine a wireframe made up of two circular edges interconnected by a third, somewhat straight line. This setup is not unlike a coke can (pardon the product placement). As the modeling guide specifies, if two edges meet with tangent continuity, a face won't be created. I've connected my two circles using the "NURBES"-option which yields this problem. Thanks in advance |
Re: creating real face from a wireframe
Try split the two circular edges in half and creating two real faces, which you should then be able to unite.
Or Create a cylindrical volume |

Cheers Mark! It worked like a charm.
It seems like a few people checked your reply out. To them I'd like to clarify that I made two semicylinders and united them into a single one. Just thought that would be relevant information... |
