Default DPM UDF
Posts: n/a

and thanks for your time in reading and replying to my request.

I would like to know whether there is any possibility to know the number of particles that cross a cell in order to get the number density?

I'm trying to write a udf but if anyone can help, i would truly appreciate it.

I don't know the direct answer of your question but, you can use a macro C_STORAGE_R(cell,t,SV_DPMS_MASS), that stores the particle mass in each cell. If you are using monosize particles, then you can very easily get number density of particles.

Hope this helps.
