Hi all,
I want to simulate flow through the packed bed (cylinder filled with spherical particles). Earlier i was having fluent 6.0 version then i came to know that there is option for packed bed in fluent 6.1 version. I got 6.1 version today but not able to get the option. Please help me. regards |

Hi,
maybe you need the porous zone option, Fluent offers. Ther you can set the resistance of your packed bed based on the ergun equation. Ralf |
