Hi,

What does the pressure mean in Fluent? Is it the same to P in the governing equation in the help files?

I simulated a case of water flow though a vertical tube, and the inlet and outlet boudaries are set to pressure-, but when the bottom inlet pressure is a lilttle higher(for example, 1Pa) than the top outlet, the flow direction will be upward. Because in my case I define the gravity, I am afraid of there are some problem in Fluent?

Could anybody give any ideas about this?

Can´t be! look at the flow vectors in /display panel. If wrong, you´ve set gravity in wrong direction. Normally gravity vector is same direction as natural (top->buttom), f.e ansys it´s like acceleration field (inversed direction)
