UDF for orous zone porosity

I need to change the porosity of a porous zone as a function of time.

The FLUENT manual tells that the porosity defined in the UDF must utilize the DEFINE_PROPERTY macro. I wrote the code and tried to use both interpreted and compiled UDF, but I can't solve the case.

The following things happen:

1) If I use interpreted UDF, FLUENT 6.1.22 tells a segmentation violation occoured.

2) If I use compiled UDF, I get the message:

Error: get_udf_function: function cell_viscosity has wrong type: 1 != 2

Error Object: #f

Did anyone have similar problems?

Hi,

The fluent manual has a correction in it for the porosity function. Instead of DEFINE_PROPERTY you need to use DEFINE_PROFILE. Hopefully this will fix your errors.
