Are you talking about k-w turbulence model? In general, k-w is suitable for low RE turbulent flow where you need viscous layers to be resolved in detail. You should refer turbulence modeling chapter in Fluent's user guide for more details.

Check the Fluent's user guide. There is a chapter named Turbulence modelling. You can find some overview in there. I don't know any specific book for k-w. You can also refer Chapt. 3 in An Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics: The Finite Volume Method, H. K. Versteeg and W. Malalasekera, Addison Wesley Longman Limited, 1995, reprinted 1996, ISBN 0-582-21884-5

for initial background if you require to.
